RV-10 Products AirCrafters RV-10 Overhead Console This RV-10 Overhead Console, available only through AirCrafters, can be used for a variety of uses. The faceted design allows the builder to add any number of switches or lights for custom wiring. It is also deep enough to accommodate a 90 degree connector for a roof antenna, allowing a very clean installation and integration. As shown here, it provides a very clean installation for a set of SteinAir LED Map Lights, with room to spare if needed for future modifications. Made from lightweight fiberglass, it weighs in at a featherweight 2.4 ounces. This simple, lightweight, inexpensive modification creates a small dedicated space for the tow bar, giving you hassle free access even with a full load of baggage. Price: $49.95 AirCrafters RV-10 Baggage Tie Downs These simple, lightweight tie downs offer an inexpensive alternative to other aftermarket tie downs. We tested them to 225 lbs each, which offers an ample safety margin for a properly loaded RV-10. Price: $ 49.95 (Set of 4) AirCrafters RV-10 Big Oil Door We modified our top cowl to allow the left rear quarter to hinge completely clear of the opening. By releasing a few 1/4-turn fasteners, you gain ample access to not just the dipstick and oil filler, but are also able to visually inspect the entire baffled area, baffle seals, and accessory area (both magnetos, fuel pump, oil cooler, exhaust system, oil filter, firewall, nose gear bumpers, etc., etc.). After you fit your cowl, we will modify it to open by decoring the edges of the cowl and new door, fill the existing oil door area, add the hinge, and the stiffener to maintain the cowls shape, and add fasteners as you choose. For more pictures Click Here AirCrafters RV-10 Door Pin Guides These products are designed to be simple and functional. Most arise out of our own needs or the needs of our customers., and each one is flight tested to guarantee proper function. These door pin guides are dimensionally identical to part C-1010 described on page 45-15 of the RV-10 Assembly Manual. The only difference is that these parts are 2024-T3 aluminum instead of the softer plastic supplied in the kit. Follow the assembly manual instructions to install these parts. The installed parts shown above were chamfered and polished, which is not necessary but does provide a more finished look. Price: $49/set of four Lancair Legacy Products:   Click for more info Lancair Legacy Hinged Window And Window Trim Rings AirCrafters has produced a lightweight, high strength hinged carbon fiber window frame for a Lancair Legacy. The frame is hinged on the upper and lower interior edges.  This feature allows the window to hinge inward or be completely removed.  Hinged from the top, loading baggage is much easier through the window as opposed to lifting and twisting over the seat back.
